My dear Alys,

Aral is finally talking about retiring, I mean really, not just as a theoretical possibility. I think the lure of grandparenthood is finally weighting the balance. I wonder what it will be like actually living with small children again. Can you imagine it?

I must confess I am worried that he would be swamped by people wanting a piece of his time. What do you think?
